The included crank provides a precise power measurement with an error margin of just +/- 1%, making it one of the most accurate power solutions for indoor bikes. The Blade ION supports riders up to 350 lbs and offers dual-sided SPD®-compatible pedals, allowing you to ride with either sneakers or cycling shoes. With a 40-lb flywheel and drivetrain, you'll enjoy the authentic road bike feel pioneered by Spinning®. Plus, the integrated tablet mount and dual water bottle holder add convenience to your ride.

Maximum Adjustability:

The Blade ION prioritizes the right fit for maximum comfort and improved efficiency every time you ride. It offers extensive adjustability for the seat and handlebars, including handlebar height and fore/aft, as well as seat height and fore/aft. The microadjustment feature for both handlebars and seat allows for a highly customized fit.

Rider Height and Weight:

Designed to accommodate a broad range of riders, the Blade ION supports individuals weighing up to 350 lbs and with heights between 4'11" and 6'5". Please note that the minimum height is not a strict 4'11" as leg and torso length play crucial roles.

With virtually no flat surfaces and perfectly fitting components, there are minimal entry points for sweat. The Blade Ion features a leather brake pad that allows precise control over your resistance. You can dial in the exact resistance you desire and maintain it even when you pedal faster or slower. This feature provides precise control for tackling steep hills or powering through sprints.

Hydration within Reach:

We've added a sturdy, oversized dual water bottle holder to the handlebars, ensuring that you can hydrate without having to bend uncomfortably during intense intervals.

Performance Saddle:

The Blade ION's commercial-grade saddle is designed with racing-style road bike geometry, featuring a sleek silhouette that promotes freedom of movement. Its low profile and performance cushioning are ideal for frequent riders, allowing full movement and helping to prevent chafing.

Dual-Sided SPD®-Compatible Pedals:

All our home Spinner® bikes, including the Blade ION, come equipped with dual-sided SPD®-compatible pedals. You can ride with athletic shoes or sneakers using the adjustable toe cages and straps or clip in with your SPD® cleats. We recommend starting with SPD® cleats for an efficient, powerful, and safe ride by optimizing your pedal stroke, reducing foot fatigue, and enhancing safety and support.

Genuine Road Bike Ride Geometry:

The Blade ION's Q Factor closely mimics that of a road bike. This ensures increased efficiency and reduces the risk of injury. Consistent with the Q Factor of an outdoor road bike, the Blade Ion enhances biomechanics and alignment through the hips, knees, and ankles.

Transportability:

Front-end wheels make it easy to roll your bike to your preferred workout spot and move it out of the way after your ride. Adjustable leveler feet ensure stability on uneven floors.

Powered by You:

Our content is delivered through your mobile device and connects to your sensors, such as a heart rate monitor, cadence sensor, and/or power crank. This eliminates the need for the bike to be near a power source or plugged in.

Customize Your Ride:

The Blade ION offers one of the most flexible indoor cycling experiences on the market. The Integrated Tablet Mount accommodates tablets with up to a 9" span (up to a 12.9" tablet). The sturdy design ensures your screen stays secure and steady, even during intense rides. If you're using your phone for content, metrics, or staying in touch during your ride, the flat center section provides a secure spot for your phone, keeping it out of the "sweat zone."

You have the freedom to choose your content, sensors, and device, whether it's a tablet, phone, or TV. The Blade ION can be used without relying on power or software, giving you the flexibility to ride with your preferred content or media. While we offer a complimentary subscription with your home bike purchase, you don't need a subscription or membership to use the bike. It's your ride, your way.
